Perfect Way to Deodorize Kitchen Trash Can.

While cleaning kitchen, most of the time the only item that remains untouched is the kitchen trash can.
However, all the kitchen waste such as eggshells, vegetable peels, leftover or paper towels are tossed inside the kitchen trash can. Along with those garbages, it is dark and damp inside the kitchen trash can. In such environment, microorganisms are likely to multiply rapidly causing an unpleasant smell.

Proper hygiene of trash can is crucial to avoid harmful substances and odor lingering all over the kitchen. Cleaning and disinfecting trash can is not that hassle, you just need to have few cleaning items and inner will to make it clean.

Things to prepare

To begin cleaning you just need to get ready for following items:

• Rubber gloves
• Scrub brush or sponge
• Hot water
• Dish detergent
• A garden hose

How To Deodorize Your Kitchen Trash Can?

Step 1. Empty your can

Wear your rubber gloves and get ready to clean your trash can.
First, remove all garbage bags from the trash can. Wipe any liquid or residue leftover on the bottom.

Step 2. Clean thoroughly

Fill around 30 percent of can with hot water and add dish detergent in it. Mix the solution and let if soak for few minutes. The bottom portion is hard to clean so just soak it for easy removal. Use a sponge or scrub brush with the mixture to scrub the inner and outer surface along with the lid.
Closely scrub any sticky dirt or stains until it is clean.

Step 3. Rinse it well

Use a garden hose to rinse it with clean water.

Step 4. Dry completely

Let you can dry well in sun or let air dry.

Step 5. Deodorize

Some strong odor are reluctant to go with simple wash. You need to apply deodorizer to get rid of such nasty smell.
Now the final step is to apply Meau to remove any remaining foul odor from your trash can.
